Cornworthy Sports

A number of like-minded Villagers in Cornworthy have been meeting  regularly since September 2019  to consider the formation of a club to expand sports facilities available in the village.  Their objectives have been defined both in terms of physical fitness and socialisation. An 11-person committee has been formed to pursue these matters. 51 people (half male, half female), sent in returns to a canvass of local opinion. Most requested facilities (taken that there is already a football pitch in situ) were a tennis court, followed by a Petanque/Boule pitch.
